Sankhanil Goswami – Energy IoT Developer
Mr. Goswami joined New Ecology in June 2019 as an Intern in our Boston office. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Power Engineering from Jadavpur University, India and a Master in Mechanical Engineering from Arizona State University. His master’s thesis focused on developing predictive models for buildings by using statistical and machine learning tools. As an intern he worked in energy modeling using tools like eQuest, Energy Plus and Honeybee etc. His focus was to automate the workflow by using VBA and Python scripts. Mr. Goswami was promoted to the role of Energy IoT Fellow at New Ecology in September 2019, and has since transitioned to the Monitoring and Optimization department working toward developing different data collection methods for buildings and working with tools like Skyspark. Outside of work he enjoys playing soccer, playing the guitar (not necessarily at the same time) and reading any book he can his hands on.
