Pat Coleman – Principal Director, Climate Smart Communities
Pat joined New Ecology in 2015 and manages our Climate Smart Communities division, which supports community development initiatives with programs and services to advance sustainable development practices. The CSC division is particularly focused on naturally occurring affordable housing and partnering with community-based organizations. Previously, Pat spearheaded NEI’s entry into the Mid-Atlantic region, opened New Ecology’s office in Delaware, researched new market opportunities, and supported strategic organizational growth. Before joining New Ecology, Pat worked for the Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources and as an organizer and affordable housing policy analyst in Massachusetts and New York. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Boston College and a Master of City Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
