Nick Hernandez – Energy Engineer
Mr. Hernandez joined New Ecology in January 2019 as an Energy Engineer. He received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, with a focus on renewable and sustainable energy. Nick concluded his undergrad studies working to help the Navy achieve their goal of becoming more reliant on alternative energy. His team designed and constructed a portable wave energy converter that could harvest the kinetic energy from ocean waves and convert it into electricity. Outside of work, Nick enjoys playing ultimate frisbee and volunteering at his local church.
