Katie Levesque– Senior Program Manager
Katie joined New Ecology in 2023 as the Senior Program Manager for the Climate Smart Communities division. In this role she leads the organization’s management of new initiatives that enhance the capacity of New Ecology’s clients and partners to create healthy, affordable, sustainable communities. Katie’s work engenders long-term collaborative partnerships with community-based organizations and related entities with a focus on naturally occurring affordable housing and community education. Before joining New Ecology, Katie worked for PennPraxis, the applied research, engagement, and practice arm of the University of Pennsylvania’s Weitzman School of Design, where she managed a diversity of planning and preservation projects. She continues to lead heritage-based planning studios at the Weitzman School of Design. Katie holds a bachelor’s degree, Master of City Planning, and Master of Science in Historic Preservation from the University of Pennsylvania.
