New Ecology Sponsors NESEA Pro Tour

In December, Project Manager Spencer Gorman and Senior Energy Rater Nate Wicksman represented New Ecology at a NESEA Pro Tour of 2Life Communities’ Leland House, which New Ecology sponsored. The project is a Phius CORE 2021 certified affordable senior housing development in Waltham, MA.

At the tour, Spencer and Nate led a station where they explained the steps of Phius certification. They spoke at length about the importance of collaboration and communication between partners and tradespeople throughout the construction process in order to build this state-of-the-art development for the residents.

It was encouraging to see the real-world impact affordable housing projects like Leland House can have on improving people's lives through lowering energy use, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and improving health outcomes.
