Annelise joined New Ecology in 2026, and serves as the Manager of Strategic projects, where she manages projects and programs in the Mid-Atlantic region, including program administrator for Energize Delaware’s Climate Smart Homes. Annelise is a sustainable urban planning and design practitioner with over 9 years in consulting, offering interdisciplinary skills and systems thinking approaches to modern challenges in the built environment. Before joining New Ecology, she worked as a Climate Change Specialist for global sustainable urban, energy, and finance programs at the U.S. Agency for International Development for +6 years before joining Deloitte as a Senior Consultant within Deloitte’s Government and Public Service’s (GPS) Infrastructure and Resilience practice. Annelise holds certifications as an Envision Sustainability Practitioner (EnvSP) and Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Green Associate (LEED GA). She earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Government & International Politics from George Mason University and holds a double Master of Science (MSc), one in Environment & Development from the University of Reading and another in Building & Urban Design in Development from University College London (UCL).
