Annelise Jensen - Manager of Strategic Projects

Annelise joined New Ecology in 2026, and serves as the Manager of Strategic projects, where she manages projects and programs in the Mid-Atlantic region, including the Energize Delaware Climate Smart Homes initiative. Annelise is a sustainable urban planning and design practitioner with over eight years in consulting, offering interdisciplinary skills and systems thinking approaches to modern challenges in the built environment. Before joining New Ecology, she was a Senior Consultant within Deloitte’s Government and Public Service’s (GPS) Infrastructure and Resilience practice, providing strategic planning, technical advice, and program management for energy, water infrastructure, housing, and seaport projects and business development. Annelise specializes in integrating environmental and sustainability practices in the built environment and within the community they serve, holding certifications as an Envision Sustainability Practitioner (EnvSP) and Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Green Associate (LEED GA). She earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Government & International Politics from George Mason University and holds a double Master of Science (MSc), one in Environment & Development from the University of Reading and another in Building & Urban Design in Development from University College London (UCL).
