Mike Ostiguy – Project Manager, LEED AP
Mike joined New Ecology in July 2016. In his past roles as a contractor and operations manager, Mike has spent the past 12 years immersed in the green building and energy efficiency space. As owning partner of a green building and consulting business, he built and remodeled homes according to Energy Star specifications and incorporated alternative building systems, such as ICFs and SIPs. He conducted live demonstrations of green building best practices for industry professionals at national builder’s conferences, such as the Midwest Builders Show, and also assisted in the design and construction of the “I-Smart Exhibit” model for the Long Island Power Authority (LIPA) to illustrate strategies from the LEED for Homes program. As an Operations and Strategy Manager at Next Step Living, he collaborated with the MassSave program administrator, Conservation Services Group, as well as National Grid and Eversource Energy, to improve processes related to working as a Home Performance Contractor (HPC). He developed and launched new business lines to expand the companies’ growing energy efficiency portfolio and developed relationships with a managed network of contractors, distributors, and manufacturers across multiple states.
