Pat Coleman – Program Manager, joined New Ecology in 2015. He supports New Ecology’s strategic growth, in partnership with Elevate Energy, to build a national network of energy efficiency service providers for the affordable, multifamily housing sector. Pat is responsible for the organization’s research of new markets, large-scale multifamily energy benchmarking, and new product offerings. Before joining New Ecology, Pat worked for the Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources where he coordinated the state’s Building Asset Rating pilot – a nation-leading initiative creating a new methodology to assess the energy performance of commercial buildings. He also supported the creation and implementation of policies and programs addressing the state’s building energy codes and zero net energy buildings to realize the goals of the Massachusetts Clean Energy and Climate Plan for 2020. Pat also worked as an organizer and affordable housing policy analyst in Massachusetts and New York. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Boston College and a Master of City Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
